Using a number of different hand pieces, electric energy is slowly applied to the tissue and the external skin temperature is constantly monitored. When collagen fibers in the dermis reach the proper temperature range, the collagen molecules will suddenly shrink and tighten. This will tighten the skin causing wrinkles to vanish and loose skin to firm up. The long term results include increased amounts of collagen, thicker and healthier skin. Additional benefits such as increased blood circulation and body fat metabolism will help improve body shape and reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Comfort & Safety
The procedure is surprisingly comfortable since it involves no surgery or ablative laser. It is risk free when used under physician supervision. Most patients describe the treatment as a comfortable warming sensation on the skin. The operator will slowly heat the surface of the skin to the proper temperature and will continually monitor the skin surface temperature to ensure both comfort and efficacy.
How long is the program?
The program time depends on the desired outcome by the patient and the necessary length of the program will vary from person to person. Most procedures involve 6 – 8 treatments. Each treatment takes about 30 minutes.
Is the treatment uncomfortable?
The RF treatment is comfortable.It employs a unique RF technology that will direct warm, comfortable therapeutic heat to the deep layers of the skin.
When will I see results?
You should see measurable results following each treatment. Since collagen will continue to rebuild and the volume of the collagen fibers will also increase, results will continue to improve for 10 weeks post treatment.
